Ministry In Mina

We had a wonderful time in Mina! Church services, leadership training, visiting the sick, meeting with local church leaders, and renewing old friendships! We are now in Luxor...our train ride and taxi ride was about 7+hours. We had a great service with Soul Salvation ministry here in Luxor. Leadership training is in the morning...Oh and we are having dinner right now (1:45am) Egyptian style.... I have been trying to upload photos but the connection here is difficult... we will keep trying!

Cairo Conferences - Wow!

We have finished the leadership and outreach conference in Cairo. What a blast! The people are wonderful and the Spirit of God was there to meet us and them as we gathered in His Name! Topics for leadership - Serving Our Savior, Fruitfulness In Ministry, The Importance Of The Word Of God, Sharing Your Faith, Kingdom Relationships....

First Day Of Cairo Ministry

The first day of ministry in Cairo went very well.....Leadership training and outreach went very well. Thank you for praying...We taught on "Sharing Your Faith," and "Relationships In The Kingdom" and explained the long-term vision of our new website (http://www.ccmv.us/).

In the evening we had some wonderful Sundanese worship and Dan Nelson preached on John chapter three. I gave a message on personal revival from Isaiah 60:1 and 2nd Corinthians 4. Dan and I led a man named Hanni to our Boss....

Made It To Cairo!

Well we made it to Cairo! Our flight from Salt Lake City was two and a half hours delayed so we missed our connection in Paris to Cairo. So we then flew back to Amsterdam then to Cairo. Just an extra half day (total 30 hour travel time). Here is Lester sleeping in Paris, France.... They lost our luggage (please pray) and hope to get it back to us on Thursday! A huge Thank You to all of you who sent us. Today is our first conference with the Refugees in Cairo. Should be about 200 people coming tonight! Also, leadership training during the day this afternoon. Pray that The Lord touches and teaches the people through us for you all! David, Lester, Amir, Dan, and Manal

We Are Going To Egypt!

Well most everyone already knows but I forgot to post the announcement on my blog...go figure... So, here is the skinny....After canceling this year's trip to Egypt because of financial concerns at CCMV God had other plans and has opened a door for us to go again (fifth time) to Egypt. Our costs are about half and some key people have funded large portions of the mission.
